Fantastic hip length opera coat from the 1940s in lush black velvet. Look at the beautiful gathered sleeve cuffs! Lovely rounded collar and three velvet covered buttons. Open from about the ribcage down. Large shoulders pads with the velvet pleated round them to the back. Fully lined in lovely gold silk ( or maybe a silk or rayon blend, its very fine). No label. Medium to large size I'd say.
